I am not Indigenous but want to wear your earrings. Can I?

One of the best ways to support Indigenous art is to buy directly from Indigenous artists. Wearing your MMJ earrings reflects your commitment to solidarity with Indigenous people. Buying Indigenous creates change. It supports the artists, their communities, and any causes they fighting for.

Which Nation are you from?

Hi, my name is Modeste Zankpe (aka Monday), and I am the founder of Monday May Jewelry. I am Secwépemcn from of Esk'etemc First Nation, and Ewe, from Togo, W. Africa.

Do you take custom orders/commissions?

Yes we do. Please visit our custom earring page.
Please note there is an additional fee for custom designs.

How long does it take to make a pair of earrings?

Depending on the complexity of the design, a pair of earrings can take anywhere from 2-20 hours to make. Each bead is hand-woven with a huge amount of care. We want your earrings to be visually striking, as well as durable.


Which type of payments do you accept?

We accept payments via Shopify Pay, Google Pay and Paypal.

We can also arrange for EMT payments. Please email for more details.

Do you have payment plans available? Layaway?

Currently, we are not set up with a payment plan provider. If finances are a barrier, please send an email to to discuss a layaway plan. Please note: Layaway is not available for ready-to-ship drop earrings.

Are you open to trades?

Yes, I am open to trades with product and service providers. Please reach out to me via Instagram to inquire.

How long will it take to ship my earrings?

Monday May Jewelry offers both pre-made and made-to-order jewelry.
Items marked "ready-to-ship" will be fulfilled (i.e. in the mail) in 3-5 business days.
Items marked "made-to-order" will be fulfilled in 4-5 weeks.
Once fulfilled, our system will send you an email, which may or may not include shipping information depending on the type of shipping selected.

Do you ship outside of Canada?

Yes! We ship internationally.


What is your return/exchange policy?

Each item is hand-crafted & made-to-order, and for that reason all sales are final. If an item is defective or damaged upon receipt, please contact us immediately so we can work together to find a solution. Our full refund policy can be found here.
